The Read Charlotte Listening Comprehension Resource Center is a free, educator-facing online platform built to support teachers in developing students’ listening comprehension skills from early elementary through high school. This new build is one of several websites we have designed and developed for Read Charlotte over the course of our more than ten-year relationship, a partnership built on shared commitment to literacy outcomes in our Charlotte-Mecklenburg community.
This project required extensive content strategy and planning before we built a single page. The volume and complexity of the resources demanded a thoughtful information architecture to ensure educators could find what they needed quickly and intuitively.

Teachers and educators across North Carolina now have a dedicated tool to support their students’ listening comprehension development, and Read Charlotte has a resource that reflects the depth and rigor of the work they do.
