Alex has been designing online since the days of MySpace, where she first fell in love with customizing digital spaces.
That early passion for creativity and experimentation carried her through starting her own photography business, managing her college’s website, and building countless personal websites to master new tools and code.
A first-generation college graduate, Alex earned her business degree while juggling internships and jobs that gave her hands-on experience with platforms like WordPress and Drupal. Her career has taken her from designing hundreds of websites at Townsquare Interactive, to earning multiple web design awards for her work at a farm credit bank in South Carolina.
Feeling the pull to reconnect with her creative roots, Alex joined M|J Creative, where she supports client website maintenance, assists with design and development, and continues to hone her skills as assistant developer. She’s passionate about learning the ins and outs of web design and development, ensuring every website is well-taken care of.
When she’s not behind the screen, you can find her exploring Charlotte, testing out the latest design tools or recharging with a cozy night at home.
Outside the office, Alexandra loves exploring Charlotte’s local breweries, cheering on the Cleveland Guardians, and searching for the best pierogies in town (though nothing beats the ones made by Cleveland’s Ukrainian grandmothers at Easter). She and her husband enjoy traveling, with past adventures including the Amalfi Coast, Ireland, and Montreal, with Cancun next on their travel list.
At home, you’ll often find her snuggled up with her cat and diving into the latest fantasy or psychological thriller reads. She and her husband also share a love for gaming, from co-op video games to hosting board game nights with friends.
